My dog understands the word “No,” so how are you going to tell me teenage boys don’t know the difference between rape and consent?

Nailed it.

ok, so at 18 years old you can buy a house in Canada.

but that’s crazy and impossible” says every peer.

but it’s not, that’s the great thing.
student loan: $15,000
down payment on house: $12,000

then $500 a month for mortgage (same, if not cheaper, than rent) and you can still go to school because you can use the rest of your loan + get scholarships—if you’re not lazy and leave them til the last minute like most.

then you ask some friends to live in your house and pay rent.
$400 per person per month, lets say you’ve got 2 friends renting rooms, that’s an extra $800 per month. you’re actually gaining $300 a month after mortgage, while living in a HOUSE with your friends.

plus you can have a job too, like most people do.

so lets just say you did that and now you’re like “k dude, I’m done school and I have like $27,000 in student loans to pay off. what now?

how about selling your house for thousands and thousands of dollars?
you still owe some on the house, but if you sell it, you’ll be making like 50 thou anyway, which would pay off your loan AND leave you with like $25,000.

imagine graduating university with $25,000 in your pocket.
