His holiness should cause the Saint to tremble with fear because they see how absolutely holy He is and how unholy they are. By His grace alone can we enter into His holy presence. It’s an honor, not something to be rushed into, but we must cleanse ourselves from sin, come fully confident in faith, and sincerely fix our hearts on Him. It is in realizing that we once were darkness, bound for eternity in Hell, then so lovingly bought with the precious, pure blood of Christ, that we can see how selfless, gracious, merciful and holy He truly is. And because of who He is, we as Saints humbled before Him should want nothing but to pursue, glorify and enjoy Him forever.
